1000 Kays of Caring is an 1000km charity run over the course of 21 consecutive days.  It is not done in a relay as the core runners have to run every single step of every single km (“kay”).  Whilst it might sound like a lunatic idea it has a worthy cause as its motivation.  The purpose of 1000 Kays of Caring is to raise funds and awareness for Siphila Sonke, a registered NPO and PBO based in Grabouw in the Western Cape.
